This article contains a list of prime minister in Sri Lanka. i.e.PM of Sri Lanka. The PM is the head of state and also the highest political office within Sri Lanka. He directs the executive branch of the federal government. The pm is formally appointed into office by the governor-general of Sri Lanka

 

1.Don Stephen Senanayake 1st Prime Minister Sri Lanka

 Don Stephen Senanayake was born on October twenty-one, 1883 in Mirigama state. He was the primary prime minister of a state within the year 1947-to 1952.

 

 2.Dudley Shelton Senanayake

 Dudley Shelton Senanayake was born on June 19, 1911, in Mirigama state. He was the second prime minister of the state within the year 1952-to 1953.

 

3.Sir John Lionel Kotelawala

 Sir John Lionel Kotelawala was born on April four, 1897 Ceylon state. He was the third prime minister of the state within the years 1953 – to 1956.

 

4.Solomon West Ridgeway Dias Bandaranaike

 Solomon West Ridgeway Dias Bandaranaike was born on January 8, 1899, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He was the fourth prime minister of Sri Lanka in the year 1956- to 1959.

 

5.Wijeyananda Dahanayake

 He was born on October 22, 1901 in Galle, Sri Lanka. He was the fifth prime minister of Sri Lanka in the year 1959- to 1960.

 

6.Dudley Shelton Senanayake

Dudley Shelton Senanayake was the second-time prime minister of Sri Lanka. In the year 21 March 1960- to 21 July 1960.

 

7.Sirimavo Ratwatte Dias Bandaranaike

Sirima Ratwatte Dias Bandaranaike was born on 17 April 1916 in Ratnapura Sri Lanka.a in the year 1960- to 1965 and she was the first female prime minister in Sri Lanka.

Sirima Ratwatte Dias Bandaranaike was the second time pm. In the year 1970- 1977.

Junius Richard Jayewardene was born on September 17, 1906, in Colombo Sri Lanka. He was the seventh pm in the year 1977- to 1978.

Dingiri Banda Wijetunga was born on 15 February 1916 in Udunuwara,Sri Lanka . He was the ninth prime minister of Sri Lanka in the year 1989- to 1993.

14.Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga

Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga was born on June 29, 1945 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He was the eleventh pm in the year 19 August 1994- to 12 November 1994.
