Sanath Jayasuriya career, He was a retired Professional Sri Lankan cricketer he was generally known as Matara Hurricane, Matara Mauler. He made his ODI debut  in 1989 against Australia and his test debut in 1991 against New Zealand. He is named as Sri Lankan great cricketer. Jayasuriya is responsible for Sri Lanka’s highest total in all three formats of cricket. He made 340 out of 952 in Test, 157 out of 443 in ODI & 88 out of 260 in T20I. He was not only a great batsman, but he was a good bowler. Jayasuriya took ODI wickets 323 than Australian Shane Warne 293.
