Shri Gajanan Maharaj Temple Amravati is a renowned tourist attraction. This temple, which is located in the Shegaon neighbourhood, is a relatively modern structure dedicated to Shri Sadguru Gajanan Maharaj. Gajanan Maharaj is revered by the inhabitants of the district and is thought to be the reincarnation of Lord Ganesha and Lord Dattatreya.

The temple complex is the largest in the Vidharbha region and is built atop the Sadguru's Samadhi (tomb). In the year 2012, the old temple edifice was restored and reconstructed over a 650-acre site.
