The Valluvar Kottam Monument serves as a tribute to Thiruvalluvar, a well-known Tamil poet and author of the Thirukkural. This memorial, which is shaped like a chariot and is 39 metres (128 feet) tall, is a copy of the chariot used at the Thiruvarur temple. The Valluvar Kottam chariot also features a life-size statue of Thiruvalluvar.Valluvar Kottam also has an auditorium in addition to the chariot.
