Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium in Bangalore ,Karnataka is a popular attraction in the city .It was firstly established in 1989  which is later on administered by the Bangalore Association for Science Education (BASE) in 1992.

The Planetarium has a 15 m. diameter dome. The dome has a feature that projections of the night sky which allowing visitors a better view of stars and planets. The special effects are liberally used in the programmes at the sky theater. It is equipped with a German Carl Zeiss 'Space master' Planetarium projector.
